In my business law class the other day, we discussed how music can have a huge affect on a persons life. Some song lyrics today are absolutely horrifying to hear. There are a bunch of popular songs about doing drugs, underage drinking, and killing yourself. Here is an example of an Ozzy Osbourne song lyric about suicide.

Breaking laws, locking doors
But there's no one at home

But you lie there and moan
Where to hide, Suicide is the only way out
Don't you know what it's really about
These lyrics are not as bad as others but in this example it is telling people that suicide is the only way out. It's hard to believe that music has such an influence on us, but it does.
